Langtauferer Panorama Trail – from Kapron to Melag
The Langtauferer Panorama Trail is one of the most beautiful high-altitude routes in the valley. Starting from Kapron, the scenic trail winds over blooming alpine meadows and through bright larch forests toward Melag. Along the way, spectacular views open up of the surrounding three-thousand-meter peaks and the mighty Weißkugel Glacier.
The trail stretches about 6 kilometers one way, climbs roughly 250 meters, and takes around 2 hours – a perfect outing for a leisurely hike with spectacular views
In Melag, charming alpine huts and inns invite you to relax and enjoy a well-deserved break, before returning either the same way, along the forest road on the opposite side, or by the valley bus.

A very spacious apartment, with well-sized rooms and a lovely outdoor area. Everything is new and well-kept. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all appliances. Great value, and the staff is courteous and attentive. Only downside: there is no bidet.
